Since October, 2008 Kaunas Regional Innovation Centre was coordinating the project named "From Research to Market - Support to Knowledge-based Entrepreneurship". Those interested in entrepreneurship will soon be able to access online learning material in Finnish, English, Lithuanian, Slovak and Cypriot Greek. The two-year ReMark project has analyzed and localized online learning material for each country and produced an additional module and exercises. On 3rd June 2010 the project was presented at the opening of Business Support Centre in Nicosia, Cyprus. The event was attended by representatives of government, business support organizations and entrepreneurs. It is expected that the clients of the new Centre - starting entrepreneurs and those wishing to expand their business - will use the e-learning material developed in the REMARK project to increase their knowledge and business success. more
On 9th-12th of June, 2010 the 19th Annual EDEN - European Distance and E-Learning Network - conference in Valencia was again a great success with near 400 delegates from 49 countries from all over the world. The ReMark project brought together partners from Lithuania, Slovakia, Cyprus and Finland in order to create online educational material for firms. The project first surveyed what information start up firms actually required through a questionnaire. For example, in Slovakia firms were found to want information on the business idea and its development.
